 09:00 – 12:00 Shanghai Wild Animal Park (3 hours) Shanghai Wild Animal Park is a nationally celebrated wildlife destination home to hundreds of animal species from across the world. Your experience starts with the complimentary safari bus ride into the predator zone. Travel inside the enclosed vehicle to observe free roaming tigers, lions, brown bears and other large carnivores within their semi natural habitats. Following the safari ride, proceed to the pedestrian zones to view a wide array of wildlife, including giant pandas, giraffes, flamingos and many more creatures. You can watch scheduled animal performances included in the general admission ticket. Additional optional activities such as animal feeding are available at your own discretion, at extra cost.

12:00 – 13:30 Transfer to Chenshan Botanical Garden (1.5 hour transfer) Travel by private vehicle or taxi to Chenshan Botanical Garden. Packed lunch is highly recommended during the transfer. On site dining options at both parks are limited, with inconsistent food quality and crowded seating. Packing your own meal saves time and better suits your dietary preferences.

13:30 – 16:00 Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden (2.5 hours) Regarded as one of the three major botanical gardens across China and the largest botanical garden in East China, Chenshan Botanical Garden boasts a sprawling natural landscape framed by hills, lakes, historic quarry sites and waterfalls, with rich and varied plant collections from around the globe. Your visit begins with the signature greenhouse complex. The garden houses three ecological greenhouses, while typically two of them are open to guests on any given day. You will first explore these climate controlled greenhouses to admire rare tropical flora, exotic blossoms and distinctive native vegetation. After finishing the greenhouse tour, you may wander the rest of the grounds at your own pace based on personal interest. Notable attractions include the famous quarry garden with cascading waterfalls, tranquil lake reflections, multi layered flower borders, dense bamboo groves and wetland plant zones. You can take leisurely walks, capture photos and appreciate the diverse plant ecosystems throughout the park.

16:00 – 17:00 Transfer back to downtown Shanghai (1 hour drive) Board your private vehicle or taxi and head back to Shanghai city centre.
